This weekend was Easter Sunday, and the French take the Monday off too, which meant no school for me! I went to visit my boyfriend who took me on a surprise trip to Rouen in the north of France! It was fantastic! The north of France is all green spaces even in the city! I got to see a cool little bar that apparently is famous to te French but no one else. It had music that changed each time someone used the bathroom.

So with that in mind, make friends with the natives! Get a study abroad BFF or BF/GF! They’ll show you all the cool little places that you would never find on your own and not only that you’re language skills will shoot through the roof!
