1/2 weeks down at the annual Cannes Film Festival: the most prestigious film festival in the world.

Also, perhaps, the most adrenaline-fueled week of my life.

Waking up at the crack of dawn (8:00 a.m… but still) to reserve a new batch of tickets, traveling via bus/by foot from theater to theater, grabbing food along the way, meeting with friends, having no clue what to order at the French restaurant you clearly can’t afford (where you see a famous filmmaker casually sitting across the aisle).

I wouldn’t trade it for anything else!

As a lifelong film fanatic, Cannes has been a dream come true, and this week has only further cemented that fanaticism, in addition to broadening my artistic and personal horizons. After today I will have seen 11 films in 6 days. So… it’s safe to say I’m living life 🙂
