After a very eventful two weeks, my trip to the Cannes Film Festival is sadly over.

Firstly, I would just like to say how incredibly lucky and privileged I am to be able to attend a trip like this, and how grateful I am as a result.

We had an amazing time and the experience will forever stick with me; I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

My personal favorites included R.M.N (Romania), Armageddon Time (United States), and Triangle of Sadness (Sweden) which wound up receiving the coveted Palme D’or (Cannes equivalent of Best Picture).

As I endure a long plane ride back home, I can’t help but feel sad, as I was able to live out one of my lifelong cinema-loving fantasies. Life is pretty sweet!
